My first Solo Helicopter flight!

Hey guys,
I am delighted to say that after 6 months, 2 exams and 20 hours flying James my instructor at Cabair Flight school in Elstree Aerodrome actually got out of the the helicopter and let me fly it all alone. I have to say its an amazing thing achieving your goals and its particularly sweet when you have to work hard to achieve it.
If anyone is interested in learning to fly I can definitely recommend Cabair Flight school and in particular my instructor, James Murray-Watson, he's been great. He's made my time squashed into cockpit of an Robinson R22 just bearable.
I have to say that the first 5 hours were all fun and games but its amazing how quickly you can pick up the lessons. Hovering is the basic requirement for flying a helicopter and it starts out like patting your head at the same time as you are rubbing your tummy and stomping your feet. It takes a while and over time you get better and better.
It's no difference with your property portfolio, you start out a bumbling idiot and end up an experienced investor. It's a lot easier when you have an instructor and they better know how to fly (or build a portfolio).
So congratulations to me and I suggest that you stay out of the air for a while until I get a few more hours under my belt.
Live with passion,
Brett
PS. Won't it be great when I can say, "Lets go inspect a property up North." Then pick you up at the airport and fly you there. :-)
